Best Wedding Venues in London

Wedding Venue London

Best Wedding Venues in London – Our Top 5 from 2025

Choosing the right wedding venue in London is one of the biggest decisions a couple will make and it’s a question we’re asked all the time.

After DJing at 52 weddings, 22 corporate events, and 38 birthday parties this year, it’s fair to say we’ve seen a lot of venues. While most of our events in 2025 were London-based, we’ve also noticed a huge rise in enquiries across Essex, and we’re excited to announce we’ve already had enquiries to DJ abroad for weddings in 2026, so keep an eye out for future posts on those experiences.

Every couple we’ve worked with this year has been completely different. Some chose their venue for its history and personal meaning, others for guest travel convenience, late licences, sound systems, or simply because the food reviews were unbeatable.

Based on our experiences this year, we’ve picked five London wedding venues that truly stood out not just for their beauty, but for the experience they delivered to our couples.

Our Top 5 Wedding Venues in London

  1. Smiths of Smithfield – Central London
  2. Oyster Shed – Central London
  3. The Crypt of St Etheldreda’s – Central London
  4. The Depot – Islington, North London
  5. St Pancras Renaissance Hotel – King’s Cross

These venues made our list primarily because of their exceptional customer service. As DJs, we work closely with venue teams on the day, and at each of the venues above we felt like part of the same team. No last-minute surprises, no unnecessary stress, just a shared goal of delivering an unforgettable celebration.

You’d be surprised how many horror stories we hear where poor venue management has completely derailed someone’s special day. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case with any of these.

What Our Couples Loved Most

From the feedback we received this year, a few key themes came up again and again:

  • The wedding planners were incredible
  • The food was amazing, with plenty for everyone
  • Beautiful spaces that were perfect for a proper party
  • Friendly, helpful staff from start to finish

We always recommend reading recent venue reviews, not just older ones. One thing we’ve definitely noticed is that wedding planners and venue staff can change frequently. The venues listed above have maintained consistent teams over the last few years and it really shows on the day.

One Crucial Question to Ask Your Venue (From a DJ’s Perspective)

If you love your music and want a proper party, there’s one question we strongly recommend asking before you book your venue:

Do you have a sound limiter and what is the limit?

We’re always happy to work within set decibel levels, but this year we’ve encountered venues where the limits were extremely restrictive sometimes raised halfway through the party. Unfortunately, that can lead to awkward conversations between couples and venue managers when the dancefloor should be at its peak.

Knowing this in advance can make all the difference.

Final Thoughts

We hope you’ve found this guide to the best wedding venues in London helpful. We’re planning to review more venues we’re booked at in 2026, so keep an eye on the blog for those updates.

Thank you for reading and from all of us at WeRDJs, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎄✨
